Pampering our Stomach
Tuesday, September 18, 2007

Date: 18th September 2007
Day: Tuesday

Meet up with Nadia after her work. Our main itinery for today was to pamper our stomach. Accompanied Nadia back to her place, since she need to do her prayers. After that, we make our way to Vivocity, Habourfront.

The time was almost 7, so we hurried to Swensens' to make a reservations. After making sure we can a seat, we make our way to Masjid Temengong. Along the way, we stop by at the Cheer Kiosk to get a drink for ourselves. We eventually break our fast, while on the way to the Masjid. After we have done our Maghrib prayers, we make our way back to the Swensens'. First thing first, the seat that they reserved for us was great. We get the view of the Selat Sinki. Maybe the waitress thought that we are there to celebrate either one of our birthday or anniversary. Then came the menu, the difference between the other Swensen restaurant and this one at Vivo is that, Swensen at Vivo caters more to Grill and Seafood. So if you are the type that got any pantang like, cannot eat prawn or mussels or those seafood stuff, you might want to skip this.

The order for the day was;
Nadia: Fisherman Catch and Ice Cappucino
Hakim: Carboiled Steak (can't remember the exact name) and Ice Mocha

We were planning to order some desserts after our main course, but luckily, we managed to curb our temptations. Coz, after the hearty meal, both of us were full to the brim. Anyway, there is a salad bar that we can just take as many as we want. While waiting for the food to go down, we managed to come out a phase to know how full we are, which is;

Lapar gile babi sampai nak mampus dan tak bleh angkat
Lapar gile babi sampai nak mampus
Lapar gile bagi
Lapar gile
Lapar
Moderate
Kenyang
Kenyang gile
Kenyang gile babi
Kenyang gile babi sampai nak mampus
Kenyang babi sampai nak mampus dan tak bleh angkat

So yesterday was only 'kenyang gile babi'. After finishing our meal, we make our way to Habourfront Station. We took the train to Sengkang. Along the way, as usual Nadia have to layan Hakim's lame jokes. Sori dear...
